Refund Policy

Understanding how refunds, disputes, and reversals are handled on the TabEdge platform.

1. Overview

TabEdge provides tools for businesses and individuals ("Merchants") to collect payments from their customers. As a payment facilitator, TabEdge is not the direct seller of the goods or services. Therefore, our refund process depends on the cooperation of the Merchant and the original payment method used.

This policy outlines the general procedures for refunds, disputes, and payment reversals.

2. Platform Fees

When a payment is processed, TabEdge and our underlying payment partners incur non-refundable fees. As such, any platform fees charged by TabEdge for a successful transaction are non-refundable. When a refund is issued, the platform fee portion of the original transaction is typically not returned, unless required by law.

3. Merchant & Creator Responsibility

If you are a customer who has paid a Merchant using TabEdge, you must contact the Merchant directly to request a refund. The decision to issue a refund is at the sole discretion of the Merchant.

TabEdge does not have the authority to issue a refund on behalf of a Merchant without their explicit consent.

4. How Refunds Are Processed

Once a Merchant approves and initiates a refund, the funds are returned to the customer's original payment method whenever possible (e.g., back to the credit card or PayPal account used). The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on the policies of the financial institutions involved, which can range from a few business days to longer.

5. Disputes & Chargebacks

Disputes and Chargebacks

If a customer disputes a charge with their bank (a "chargeback"), the disputed funds, along with a dispute fee, may be automatically withdrawn from the Merchant's TabEdge wallet. Merchants are responsible for providing evidence to contest disputes. TabEdge will facilitate this process but does not decide the outcome.

6. Mistaken Payments

If you believe you have made a payment in error, please contact the Merchant immediately. While TabEdge can provide transaction logs to assist, we cannot guarantee the reversal of a completed payment.

7. Withdrawals

Once funds have been withdrawn from a TabEdge wallet and sent to a bank account, they cannot be reversed by TabEdge. If you believe a withdrawal was made in error, you must contact support immediately, but we cannot guarantee recovery of funds once they have left our system.
